Would you love to escape "Auto" mode, but don't understand what your camera is doing?
Have you been shooting for a while, but find your ideas are getting stale?
Are you interested in photography, but don't know where to start?
Then this is the course for you!
We'll go though all the technical basics of photography, with a big emphasis on exposure, as it underpins almost every aspect of understanding how to take great pictures.
We'll also cover kit like lenses and cameras, as well as essential stuff like white balance, resolution, file types and workflow.
Then every week, we'll back it up with lessons in creativity. Good ideas are more important than good technique, and having them isn't just a matter of luck! We'll spend time each session learning how to develop your creativity, work with your influences, and teach you habits that will have you shooting more interesting pictures in no time.
A camera is all you need! Anything beyond a smartphone is enough, manual control would be really handy, and interchangeable lenses would be a definite bonus.
No technical knowledge is required - if you already know some of the basics, great, but you can take this course without knowing which end of the camera to look through.
The course consists of 6 x 2 hour sessions, taught in person in Tonbridge.
The cost is £299 per person
